Footbridge on Rainbow Falls Trail is out

Monday, August 2nd, 2010
Today's update on the Great Smoky Mountains National Park website is reporting that the first footbridge on the Rainbow Falls Trail is out. The creek will need to be crossed by wading until the bridge can be replaced.

The Rainbow Falls Trail, located off the Cherokee Orchard Loop - just east of Gatlinburg, leads to the highest single-drop waterfall in the Smokies.
