The Craggie Brewing Company of Asheville, NC will be opening its doors this Friday afternoon. The new microbrewery will offer two beers this weekend: Battery Hill Bitter and a pale ale called “test batch No. 1.” Others will follow as the founders get settled in.Although relatively small - it can accommodate about 50 people - Craggie plans to offer music on an ongoing basis as well.
Craggie Brewing is the eighth brewing company and the ninth brewery in Buncombe County (Asheville Brewing has two), solidifying Asheville as one of the hottest microbrew scenes in the country.
