Update: All three campers have been found.
WVLT just updated their story stating that a spokesman with the Park Service told Volunteer TV that the three missing tubers were found safe Friday night. There was no other information available at this time.
Kind of strange timing on the whole story.
The original story was posted last night at 11:23 p.m., which stated that: Rangers apparently called off the search around 9:00 p.m. due to darkness. Reports from the scene indicate they will begin searching again on Saturday morning.
WVLT then updated the story at 2:44 p.m. this afternoon saying that the campers were found last night.
Maybe they walked out on their own as oppossed to being found by park officials. I guess we'll find out when more details are posted.
