Ramsey’s Draft Wilderness Escapade

We journeyed to Ramseys Draft for a planned two night, three day backpacking trip. The last time we came here, I had just recovered from an ankle injury and found the terrain difficult with hard river crossings and a multitude of blow downs to negotiate.Not this time! One Year Ago Today…

One year ago today, Paul Bunyan and Blissful completed a lifelong dream, hiking the entire Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine, 2,175 miles. We ended this day atop Mt Katahdin in Maine on a beautiful, crisp, clear day. The memories are great, the goal complete, and now the future awaits.
